Bio Information:

Hugh was born to Charles and Julia (Burden) Miller and raised on the family farm southwest of Harmon, IL. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Waldschmidt in 1953 and stayed on farm for 27 years. He was actively involved in 4-H and served as a leader for 22 years. Hugh served as a High School Board Member for Walnut High School, 20 years as Hamilton Township Precinct Committeeman, 14 years as Hamilton Drainage District Director.

Hugh's passion for helping youth in agriculture lead him to serve twenty-eight years as President and Chief Managing Officer of the Mid-Continent Livestock Exposition. Participants came from coast to coast for the annual judging contest.

Member of Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce and Walnut Chamber of Commerce.
